Power Adapter compatibility for the G15 5520

I'm thinking on getting an extra power adapter for my dell G15 5520, but the original adapter (240W) that comes with the notebook is terrible to be transported back and forth due to it's shape.
Would the 240W adapter for the dell precision 7780 be compatible with my notebook?
I've read the manuals about both computers and the specs about the power adapter are basically the same(only the output current (continuous) varies, 12.31 A for the g15 and 12.30 A for the 7780).
