Dell XPS 15 Battery Not Charging Despite Being Plugged In
I'm experiencing a problem with my Dell XPS 15 (9560) laptop. The battery isn't charging even though it's plugged in. The laptop runs fine when it's connected to the charger, but the battery percentage doesn't increase and remains stuck at a certain level or indicates "plugged in, not charging." I've tried updating the BIOS, checking the adapter and charging port, and using a different charger. The battery is 2 years old. Has anyone else faced a similar issue, and if so, what solutions worked for you?

First thing to check is whether or not the system recognizes the AC adapter - F2 at powerup to check. Note: even if the adapter is not recognized, the system will power up and run on AC -- you need to check. If the adapter is not recognized, the battery will not charge.
