Dell XPS 15 7000 series 7590 Fan Replacement

replace both fans a month or so ago, work fine after replacement. Last week the fans stopped working and I received the same error message. After the error message is displayed after a time the continue button will work and I can boot up and use the laptop. Runs hot. Is there anything else that could be wrong that would cause the fans to fail so soon? Or were the fans Dell sent me defective? Is it worth replacing the fans a second time? Support services expired 5/2/2024. Do you think an Enhance GX-C1 Laptop Cooling Stand (Green LED) would keep things cool without the internal fan working?

It could be a defective fan, it could be a bad connection.  All the guessing and reasoning aside.  If the fan failed again, a replacement will be the only solution.  No external cooler can cool off the heatsink.

Having the exact error message would help greatly.  The odds of two fans failing simultaneously are low.
