XPS 8950, cooling + control and case mods

I am looking for options for cooling in my XPS 8950 as I don't like the fact the GPU is so close to the PSU and may not get proper cooling in the case. Looking to know if anyone has modified there case such as drilling holes on the removable panel or adding cooling fans facing downward to the top of the case where the hard drive cages are and modifying the case on the top to allow fresh air ventilation. And also if adding and upgrading and running the fan with sata, is there any controllers that are controlled by piggybacking of the OEM fan to control speed instead of manually. Also my XPS did not come with a GPU support and I am looking for a good GPU bracket that works as my XPS was second hand and I did add the RTX after.

Oh wow, mine is air. I will forsure get that GPU support. I like that just hesitant with water cooling as I don't have any experience with it and that it's so close to the psu

What is your CPU cooling solution . . . liquid or air? You could add liquid cooling for your graphics card with an external radiator. For example;

This is an adjustable graphics card support

Looks like this installed in an XPS 8930;

Nobody has any experience with water cooling the first time they try. Fortunately there are people around to help. If you remove all the heat piping, fin array, and fans from the RTX 3090 it becomes a one slot graphics card.
