XPS 8940 - replace M2 2230 SSD with M2 2280 SSD
XPS 8940
My 8940 I purchased from Dell in 2022 has a 512Gb SSD, type NVMe CL1-3D512-Q11 NVMe SSSTC 512GB, one of the short-length ones (2230). I want to replace it with a 1TB SSD, a longer-length Samsung EVO Plus one (2280). I don't intend to keep the OS or any data on the existing SSD so starting afresh is fine and is my preference.
I wanted to check here first and ask are there any issues or hurdles doing what I wish to do? Or is it simply a matter of removing the one currently installed, and install the replacement?
Here's a photo of the inside of my PC showing the current SSD on the motherboard, below the CPU fan. The location can take both SSD sizes.

Insights appreciated, thanks!

Yes, it's just a simple process of moving the standoff screw to 2280 length and installing the new 2280 SSD.
