XPS 8930, front fan, cover with Dell log on?

To those that have installed FRONT fans on the XPS 8930, do you keep the front cover with the Dell Logo on? If so, how does that help?

There is a small gap with open grill around the front panel.  That allows airflow to reach metal frame opening where the fans are located.  However, the upper front fan is smaller and has partial restricted airflow comparing to the larger lower fan.

With both fans installed, the case temperatures may lower from 10 - 15 degree.  Worthy of an upgrade.  But, the most effective air cool for this system is upgrading the top case fan to a larger 120 mm.

@ProfessorW00d  I'm not sure why you're having issues posting photos.. Are they too large? I post PNG images and they upload fine.

@Chino de Oro Waiting for my top fan to arrive.   With the CPU cooler upgrade alone, I have a much cooler CPU. I still have to reinstall the VRM heatsink. I hope that with the 120mm top fan, I'll be all set.

I may not venture adding front fans.

@Hokie_Shankar   I'm not sure either . . . the photo that just failed is 2.57 MB and has been poster previously, successfully

@Hokie_Shankar   front fans will improve the overall air flow regime in your air flow stifling case, benefiting components like RAM, mobo, graphics card, SSDs, VRM, as well as CPU.
