XPS 8930, best CPU cooler? #5
Hi, I have been reading all the forums in this website about the cpu coolers, but I am still unsure which cpu cooler fan is the best for cooling my cpu temp? I don't mind the noise much.
My cpu temp goes to the 80c 86c sometimes on high end games like rdr2 , far cry 5 for example when it spikes and it happens when I put the fan at almost full throttle with msi after burner. I know cpu can take these temps but these aren't temps I am really comfortable with when it comes to long term.
Is it the Noctua NH 9Li, the Arctic Freezer 11 LP, is it the Noctua NH-L9x65 or any other cooler?
What would be my best option if I only plan to replace the 92mm chassis fan with a 120mm noctua 3 pin fan too?
As for my pc here is some info on it:
32 gb ram, i7 9700, 850W psu gold(came with my dell pc), 2060 RTX super.
- Here is a pic of my pc that was rotated for some reason:

In my opinion, if you are going to stick with air cooling, the best option is the blower style fan/heatsink that came with the XPS 8930 units with the "K" processors. The air is blown up through a fin stack and directly into the top exhaust fan and out the top of the case. It looks like this;
You can not use coolers referenced for the XPS 8940, since that chassis does not have the swing out PSU contraption, and much taller coolers will fit inside the case. As you indicated, you should absolutely change out the 92mm top exhaust fan for 120mm fan. The 120mm fan has 70% more area compared to the 92mm fan.
If you open your photos in MS paint, orient to your liking, and save . . . then this platform will not rotate them.

The Noctua NH-L12S a good option too? it is a 120mm but it seems high enough to not touch the Ram sticks or is it lower then I think?
