XPS 8900/8700/8500/8300 cooler upgrade
Any of these model use same classic Dell xps chassis. Good Dell oem heatsink upgrade options are:
Dell XPS 8940 tower cooler VWD01 or 2NW0M. The cooler is a newer Dell oem model.
it is c/w 8700 b/c it is for LGA1200 socket which has same heatsink mounting hole spacing as LGA1150 in 8700.

8940 case (6.65”) is narrower than 8700 (7.3”) so the cooler will definitely fit 8700 case.

Note you can not use these Dell tower cooler in 8910/8920/8930 b/c those chassis do not support tower cooler.
