XPS 8700, motherboard replacement options?

My Dell XPS 8700 is losing USB sockets. Only one now works. All those on the back of the machine have stopped responding.

I have recently invested in a GTX 1050 Ti, a SoundBlaster AE9, two 1TB SSD, and 32GB of DDR3 ram. The machine is working well apart from the USB issues.

I would like to replace the motherboard. I think this will help me make the most of my ram for another couple of years.

The question is - are there any alternative motherboards I could consider that would fit the XPS 8700 case and run the DDR3 ram?

Replacing the board is not difficult.

@shaderware  - What about trying an externally powered USB hub? Plug the hub into a USB port on PC and plug its power adapter into a wall outlet.

It may -or not- help the USB ports that have failed, but you can still plug it into the one working USB3 port on the front and connect multiple USB devices to the hub.

Be sure to get a powered USB3 hub which should be able to power more devices than a USB2 hub and run at USB3 speed if/when connected to a USB3 port.

That might give this motherboard a little extra life, at lower cost than a new board...
