Upgrading 24 GB 8oem/4oem/8oem/4oem to 32GB, 8oem/4oem TO 8new/8new/8new/8new
XPS 8900
Upgrading existing 24 GB configured 8oem/4oem/8oem/4oem to 32GB, TO 8new/8new/8new/8new.
What slots are used for; mix 2400 MHz sticks with oem 2133 MHz, slot order.

@Norton01 You should use the slots with similar color securing clips for memory modules of the same speed. i.e. slots with white securing clips (DIMM1 & DIMM2) for 2133 MHz and slots with black securing clips (DIMM3 & DIMM4) for 2400 MHz. The system will run all memory at 2133 MHz. Note that the slot order (from the CPU) is DIMM3, DIMM1, DIMM4, and DIMM2.
