DELL DIMENSION 8300/ BIOS PROBLEM
The bios shows that the primary and secondary Master drive are off. The primary and secondary slave drive both works finding my hard drive and both CD-ROMs. Last time I looked the primary masters worked and the slave drives were off. I tried turning both primary and secondary drive on to AUTO. No luck came up "Not Found". In the last year I have replaced the hard drive and both dvd-rom and CD-ROM. Can someone help me how I lost my primary master settings and get them back.

replace cmos battery with a new one.
sounds like you have one hdd and two cd-rom. the two cd-rom should connect to the white IDE socket on motherboard.
the single hdd should connect to the black IDE socket.
make sure hdd jumper is set as master.
