About the XPS 8940 side panel

Nice to meet you.I'm using an XPS 8940 and would like to have a clear side panel so that I can see the internal structure. The company's 5090 uses the same housing as the 8940, and the 5090 seems to have a clear side panel option. I'd like to get a 5090 side panel and attach it to my 8940. Has anyone already done so? Also, what are some possible ways to get a clear side panel?

Someone that knows what they are doing could probably cut a hole and get some plexi glass to fit. Not sure if it would work or not. I would buy a XPS 8940 side panel and then cut it. You can usually find side panels for just about any computer on eBay.
