WYSE 3040 - Windows 10 - Pixels after dragging Window
I am running Windows 10 v. 20H2 and an earlier release on 2 different catalogs/delivery groups on Cixtrix XenServer/XenDesktop 7.15 LTSR.
In both cases, whenever an application window is dragged, minimized, max, organized, it leaves behind traces of the Window, cluttering up the desktop space.
I am also running 3 different firmware versions on the Thinc Client 3040 : 8.6_206 / 8.6_412 / 8.6._606 and all produce the same result - the desktop is not refreshing properly. Anyone have this issue before?

Take a look at the Release notes for 8.6

Specifically page 21
Citrix virtual apps and desktop 2003/2006—The following limitations are applicable for Citrix virtual apps and desktop
2003/2006:
○ To make legacy graphics work, you must enable Citrix policy.
■ To configure Citrix policy, launch Citrix Studio and go to Policies > Create Policy.
■ Search for the particular keyword and follow the on-screen instructions. For example, you can search for the keyword
legacy.
○ If this policy is not enabled, then user sees choppy patches on the desktop when application or folder are moved over the
desktop.
Workaround: Perform either of the following:
○ Legacy graphics mode and Optimize for 3D graphics workload with graphics card enabled server.
○ Legacy graphics mode and Enable video codec for compression set to full screen with graphics card disabled server.
