.CER events

A certificate issued from our Root CA recently expired, the team that oversees our certs failed to inform us that they had generated a new cert (several months ago as it turns out) so that we could import it to the WYSE Console and other non-domain devices.

This caused a few issues which we were able to resolve by importing the updated .CER file via: APPS & Data > File Repository > Inventory > Add File

I've verified in our Groups & Configs setting that the new cert appears to be showing up - I should note that it has the same name as the old cert.  When I am looking at the Events either for an individual device or the Events as a whole, I am seeing events that read:

<ROOTCERTNAME>.cer has already Expired for <DEVICENAME>

When I check an individual device and go into the System Tools from the front end and check certificates, I am seeing both certs.

What step am I missing to get rid of the old cert from our environment and get rid of the Cert Expired events?
