PocketCloud Pro and Windows companion can not log in to auto discovery

I have checked and rechecked my google password and email. It is correct in the android and on my pc. I keep getting a invalid username or password message. Then earlier after trying I got an email from google saying the following. If google is blocking PocketCloud Pro then the auto discovery feature is useless.

Hi James,

Someone just tried to sign in to your Google Account jamesrmilleriii@gmail.com from an app that doesn't meet modern security standards.

We strongly recommend that you use a secure app, like Gmail, to access your account. All apps made by Google meet these security standards. Using a less secure app, on the other hand, could leave your account vulnerable. Learn more.

Google stopped this sign-in attempt, but you should review your recently used devices:

Bzedaking,

PockectCloud was discontinued back at the end of 2014 and all services and the infrastructure was shutdown in the middle of 2015.

Support for PocketCloud is no longer available.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you're experiencing login issues with PocketCloud Pro and the Windows companion app, specifically related to auto-discovery, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the problem:

Check network connectivity: Ensure that both your Android device (running PocketCloud Pro) and your Windows computer (running the companion app) are connected to the same local network. Auto-discovery relies on the devices being on the same network to establish a connection.

Disable firewalls: Temporarily disable any firewall or security software on your Windows computer that may be blocking the communication between PocketCloud Pro and the companion app. You can re-enable them once the connection is established.

Verify app versions: Make sure you have the latest versions of PocketCloud Pro on your Android device and the companion app on your Windows computer. Outdated versions may have compatibility issues or bugs that can affect the login process.

Restart devices and router: Restart both your Android device and your Windows computer. Additionally, you can also try restarting your router to ensure a fresh network connection.
