Order not found

Ordered a laptop on the 8th, everything has been confirmed and the status is "shipped" but UPS has not picked up the item which was supposed to be delivered today.  However, when I click on the order number it says order not found. When I click on track my parcel it comes up with an error. I have received an email this morning saying deliver will be delayed but when I log in it is still saying order not found and track my parcel still doesn't work. Going round in circles!

@mjb12345​ its madness I had never had such problems before. Finally found a sales number 08005871456 that put me through to somewhere else that found out what was going on. It appears the order is in two parts, a laptop and Docker. Dell has lost the latter and had held the laptop until they found the Docker. So DHL never had any shipment to move even though they logged them! We have got them to delver the laptop tomorrow and the Docker when they find (or replace if they lost my order). I find the whole thing appalling, Dell losing part of the order but not bothering to inform me even though they had said it was to be delver today. But then just to sit on the laptop until they find the other bit with information. But DHL tracing through there system an order that doesn’t exist!

Amazingly seeing on my Dell account saying the delivery was delayed and DHL sending a text saying it to (and the tracking saying the same) they attempted to delver something (we had gone out by then!). The communication of both DHL and Dell are appalling and even more so the near impossibility to contact them. When we did so we were told the delivery wasn’t going to be today as well, though one it turned out was coming.

My one is DHL no way of geting any human to ask with either them or DELL. I have never had such problems with large orders befor and regret now using DELL

@John_72bfd28​  same here, I tried the UPS website to discover that they had tried to deliver at 8:32 this morning when I was out (seeing to my elderly mother) I was under the impression that UPS deliver between 9am and 7pm so made sure I was back by then..too late! Going to have to wait until tomorrow now...It's ridiculous that when you click on your order number it suddenly "doesn't exist"! and clicking on track my order on the Dell website just brought up an error message! I hope you get yours sorted soon! Good luck!

@John_72bfd28​ Yep communication is appalling! It's ridiculous that you have to have an order number to use the order support, especially when the  order number they themselves have given can't be found! All in all very unprofessional!
