How to use dell wyse w11b as monitor?
I got an dell wyse w11b all in one pc/ monitor from work.
I'm trying to use it as a third monitor. I got a VGA-> displayport cable and a displayport-> displayport cable but both won't seem to trigger the dell monitor to act as a monitor.
I got two options from the input source: AIO and VGA.
AIO is the pc option it seems but whenever I connect to the VGA port it says there's no signal coming from your pc. Does anyone have a clue what could be the issue and or fix.
Big thanks,
Rick

Looks like Wyse W11B is a Wyse 5040.
What's the source of the video signal you want to display on the Wyse screen?
The DP port on the Wyse 5040 is DP-OUT, so it can only be used to send video out to an external monitor. It cannot accept a DP-IN signal.
The Wyse 5040 VGA port is VGA-IN so you can send a VGA signal from an external source to the Wyse. Unless your video source has a VGA-OUT, you will need an adapter to convert whatever signal it can provide into VGA, eg DP(source)>VGA(Wyse).
Also keep in mind that VGA is a low quality analog signal so it may not look very good on the Wyse screen...
