Unable to download pictures from finepix viewer--unable to update win media player or reload from computer
After recently updating to SP2 and Windows Media Player 10 - I have developed the following problems I cannot open my finepix file with the insert '"This application has failed to start becauseWMVCore.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem "--When I try to reinstall Windows Media Player I get the following "this version of Windows Media Technologyis incompatible with this version of Windows.For more information, view the information at Microsoft web site. There is No info at the web site. I have tried to reload Media Player 9 and get the same warning I have even tried redownloading Media player 10 from the download site but get the same thing -- any ideas

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Windows Media Player 10 was loaded at part of Service Pack 2. I have no information on attempting to reload Media Player 10. You will not be able to step back to Media Player 9 with SP2 installed.
What is finepix viewer? If this is third party software, then you should contact the vendor to see if there are any updates. The version you have may not be compatible with SP2.
The only other option I can see if to remove SP2. The Service Pack may cause problems with some applications.
