Remove Comet Cursor

I have attempted to remove" Comet Cursor "from my Windows XP. I have tried the " ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS " using the control panel , also  going to "Restricted sites" and going through that process with no success. I have Adaware and that will remove everything but Comet Cursor, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sometimes the uninstall is not successful because some key file was manually deleted that the uninstall process needs. Reinstall it, and then proceed with a normal uninstall.

www.cometcursor.com

Click Start | Settings | Control Panel

Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon

Scroll down to "Comet- Comet Cursor 3.0" and select "Comet - Comet Cursor 3.0"

Click the "Add/Remove" button

Follow the instructions that appear

I had the same problems as the others above.  That comet cursor would not go away no matter what!  However, I did reinstall it (as Chik describes above).  After successfully reinstalling comet cursor, it was only then that I could completely uninstall the program.  I will never reinstall again.  Have to watch for comet curser and all that adware stuff by Gator!

Thanks everyone for your help.  I did reinstall Comet Cursor and then I went to the  Add/Remove Program and uninstall it.  It is now gone from my computer.

Thanks again.
