Microsoft will release the final version of XP SP3 on March 24

I read that earlier but will wait to see if it's just a rumour on Monday.

Will this be an automatic microsoft update you think?

Yes I think it will be on automatic microsoft update and Microsoft will put it on  their Microsoft download centre as well so people can download manually.
