vxrail update precheck not allow to continue
Vxrail precheck fails and i can't continue, even i my own risk.
Some time ago I made mistake and pressed YES on vcenter automatically update, and now i stuck on
VxRail System Version 7.0.131-26875681
because my vcenter is not 7.0 U1c 17327517, but is already 7.0.2.00400-18356314.
i tried to put update version VXRAIL_COMPOSITE-7.0.240-27141857_for_7.0.x.ziip which include this vcenter version what i already have , but precheck is failing only for that one reason and i cant continue update, even on my own risk.
After 1-3 month with dell support i have finally answer that it will cost me around ~3000Euro to fix this problem and it is outrageous.
Does any body have any idea how to help me or anybody know how to ignore precheck warning which don't allow me to continue install update?
I don't want to pay 3000 for this and i don't want reinstall vxrail cluster from scratch.

Hi,
Maybe someone in the community has a suggestion. I wasn’t able to find anything besides the answer support has provided.

There is a way to skip version compatibility check when LCM.

If you can not access above link, you should open support ticket.

Have you tried to use one of the newer VxRail updates. The current one is VxRail 7.0.371 Composite Upgrade Package for 7.0.x. It might support an upgrade from your current version of vCenter.

no, with 7.0.371 same error in precheck and can not continue:
. Cluster component VMware vCenter Server Appliance is incompatible. Current version 7.0.2-18356314. Expected version 7.0.1-17327586. Please contact support to resolve this issue.

This means the ESXi hosts were updated outside of a VxRail manager update. You’ll need to work with support to resolve this issue and make sure everything is stable.

no only vcenter is out of update matrix and support is asking ~3000euro to resolve this. And i think it is not normal. and even if i try to put update package which willl have same version of vcenter what i already have, i cant get pass precheck. Iin theory vxrail update package just must skip vcenter update and proceed with other updates , but not.
