Vxrail ip address setting with idrac Life Cycle Controller
Hello,
Could someone explain to me how works internal process when we set LCAttributes.1.VirtualAddressManagementApplication to configure network configuration for VxRail Manager ?
At the moment, I configure VxRail Manager using IPv6 network but I would like to configure VxRail Manager using idrac LCAttributes.
What are the prerequisites ?

Starting with VxRail 4.7.510 or 7.0.010, VxRail introduced the method for setting static public IP of VxRail Manager via idrac interface.
This feature only applicable to 14G/15G node.
The attribute you found is related with this feature.
VxRail have official tool and doc to tell how to use this feature.
It needs powershell but not idrac api or changing those parameter directly.
The tool and doc can be obtained in support site.
The tool name is, VxRail Pre-Installation PowerShell Script, and doc is in it.

Which version of the vxrail manager are you using? Which appliance do you have? Are you wanting to assign the manager software IP with it?

Hi,
The version of the vxrail manager is 7.0.241. I have standard (E560F) configurations and stretched configurations (P570F).
Indeed, I want assign the manager software IP . Today , I set it with traditionnal method with vxrail-primary script but I saw it is possible to set ip address from idrac with LC attributes (as in ODT powershell script developed by Yuan Li)
I would like to use this method but using ansible and I need technical info but it's not documented

Maybe someone in the community has done it before, but I only see ways to set the iDRAC IP and not the manager IP.
