my question is around FRU and CRU.

Can you help me in finding the manual for adding GPU Card please?

Thank you, but I won't ask more help if the right information was available in the respective locations. These guides (including Solv) does not have information. Any technical or for this matter non-technical person would not understand how to replace or add GPU. (Please refer to page 23 and 24.) Because There is no information which is Riser card1 or 2.

It would be unfortunate, if just for this Information I have to open a Ticket. Really sad, looks like it is the ONLY WAY. Thank DELL-Sam L

Unfortunately Solv is not updated. It refers to process to add externally powered GPU card. I did generate it twice, but the instructions unfortunately are not helpful. Hence I was asking if it FRU or CRU. In FRU case, I won't see this document. FRU document are generally available to the partners.

You can generate the upgrade process by going to solve online and putting in your system information and once you have completed it will generate the steps that you will need to do to install a GPU.  Here is the link to solve.

In this doc, GPU is categorized as CRU as you can see.

And I have confirmed that you can generate Replacement Procedure in SolveOnline with Customer Privilege for 14G node.

I suppose, it indicates GPU is CRU as of now
