Managing a VXrail system without VWware.
The new pricing model adopted by Broadcom is forcing us to move away from VMware. Many of our workloads are containerized and we are looking for a way to go to a bare metal installation of a container platform on the VxRail infrastructure. At one point the VxRail Manager was a standalone application, is it possible to get an up to date version that can be run using another HyperVisor or perhaps even a container image.

I think you may want to talk to your dell rep about "converting" the vxrail systems to normal poweredge systems (which they essentially are). I would expect then you can just use them normally without VxRail. I do not expect you can "uncouple" VxRail from VMware.

Hello Zane Maphalle,
There are not any others. With VxRail you have to use VmWare.
