Dedupe and Compression
Season's Greetings.
During the initial cluster setup, the need for dedupe and compression was not clear, owing to OS related questions. Now the minimum threshold mark is crossed and we cannot enable the feature.
Is there a way to move some VM's outside of the VxRail cluster, free space and enable the Dedupe and Compression feature?

You mean, you cannot enable Dedup&Comp because there is not enough free space on vSAN, and more free space is needed because during enabling Dedup&Comp needs vSAN DG to re-format 1 by 1 keeping redundancy?
In this case, yes, you can move the VM out of vSAN datastore then free up the space, or you can check "Allow reduced redundancy" to enable it.
