VPLEX Witness FT enable fails

Hi everyone,

IHAC, who has VPLEX Metro + Witness installation.

Now he wants to enable FT on witness vm but it fails with an error "Device "Hard Disk 1" uses a controller that is not supported".

Please see pic below:

It seems the vm, deploed from OVA, has IDE controller, while vSphere FT allows SCSI controller only.

Is there any way how the type of controller can be changed or any other way to enable FT for this witness vm?

Customer has:

VPLEX VS6 6.0.1.07.00.04

VPlex-6.0.1.07.00.04-cluster-witness-server.ova

vSphere 6.0 Enterprise Plus

ESXi 6.0.0 build 5224934
