Vplex & metro recoverpoint loss of network between sites

Hi , we are planning to install OTV and this will require a "short" period of downtime between our 2 datacentres. Our witness server is on a third site, but reaches the 2nd site via the 1st , so the loss of both 10G links between the sites will mean the 2nd vplex will become isolated without witness support. All of our vplex volumes run vmware only.

We are planning to , so far, move all the vm guests back to site1 and put the hosts in site 2 into maintenance mode, and change the vlpex cluster settings to detach rule winner Site1.  Each site has local roverpoint configured for these volumes.

Does any one have any idea of the implications after the link comes backup and how I can mitigate these?
