vplex performance Monitor
With GeoSynchrony 5.5 emc is introducing to performance monitoring with a new tool
which you can seen the pref mon comm ports for your reference

Are you referring to GUI real time ? it is there in 5.4 version too , but I am trying to set some thing up so that we can do ad hoc monitoring and email alerting as part of trouble shooting process.

Native to VPLEX - no. Nothing in any version of GeoSynchrony supports performance report generation.
The recommended external monitoring options would be:
Best you can get today graphically is the 5 minutes of history from the GUI performance dashboard.

Just so you know, the upcoming VPLEX Performance Monitor Virtual-Machine will for the 1.0 release report on only VPLEX virtual-volumes, no director level statistics (so no WAN COM port info). And I don't believe it will have any reporting capabilities.
