PowerMax VIAS provisioning with VPLEX
Hi all,
My customer just added a PowerMax 2000 to their infrastructure. VPLEX correctly sees the PowerMax as an Array, so that's working
However registering the AMP for the PowerMax to be able to use VPLEX provisioning failed. The new PowerMax should not require a SMI-S man-in-the-middle (as before with VMAX), so we tried adding a AMP and use the REST-API connection type, with SSL enabled. I searched the documentation but did not find guidelines how to register a PowerMax AMP (yet).
Environment:
VPLEX VS6 running 6.0.1.07.00.04 (target-code)
PowerMax 2000 running 5978.479.479 (latest GA)
Any clue and recommendations how to get VIAS provisioning working from VPLEX on the new PowerMax?

The document you are referring to does not include any specific information regarding the PowerMax, only VMAX. And if I am correct PowerMax should be able to configure VIAS using RESTAPI instead of the old SMI-S solution?
