How to Move Witness VM to different location
Running Vplex Metro GeoSynchrony 5.4 and Witness VM in different (third) fault domain. Planning to move Witness VM from current location (vCenter-X ) to different location (vCenter-Y). There is no connectivity between both vCenters to perform any vMotion or migration. Hostname, Private/Public IP, etc will remain the same after moving to vCenter-Y. What is the best option to perform the move and the steps to temporarily disable Witness VM from the Vplex configuration.

Hello ,
Please find the below steps to relocate your witness VM
1) Use the vplex solve desktop procedure to implement new Witness VM in the new site.( make sure to write down the new witness public ip address , you will need it later )
2)make sure that the new witness VM can ping the two vplex clusters and Vise Versa.
3) Engage support and mention this kB To continue using Dell.com, please upgrade your browser. , this KB is for removing the current witness configuration from vplex.
4) Last step is using this KB To continue using Dell.com, please upgrade your browser. to manually create VPN tunnel between your two VPLEX clusters and the new Witness deployed
