Data Deletion and Generating Certificate "VNX5400"

Hello Masters,

Thanks in Advance.

I have VNX 5400, including (one Data Mover, 2 Control Station, and 6 Disk enclosure connected with SAS)

I have been told by management to format the whole drives and give them a proof that the data has been deleted completely, I asked couple of people they said VNX generate a certification which gives proof the data has been deleted completely from the whole storage? is it true?

if yes can you please share any link or any document or any suggestion how can i do this?

What you are looking for is the VNXClear Data Erasure Utility. What you will need to do is to contact support so that they can provide it to you so that you can delete all data and get the certification.
