Unable to check for updates through Dell Support Assistant and Dell Update applications.

Hi team,

I'm using Dell Vostro 3470 sff ( i3, 4gb ram pc ). Today I got to check for updates through Dell Update app. When I checked for updates I received this on screen message stating: Unable to retrieve system inventory information. Same thing happened even in Dell Support Assist app.

Some one please tell me how to proceed so as to solve this issue. My Dell Update app is up to date( v.4.1.0).
