GPU addition into a Vostro 260
I have settled on purchasing a GTX 1660 super to add to my Vostro 260. I am replacing the cpu for a i7-2600, and through this guide
https://www.hardware-corner.net/desktop-models/Dell-Vostro-260/
I've settled on the above GPU. My fear is that I'm missing some kind of beginners blind spot. Are there versions of this GPU that will not run on this system? I'm aware I need to purchase something that will actually fit the case, but even that I have my concerns about. Would rather purchase one time, unlike my previous cpu situation.
Thanks in advance.

I would be cautious and wary about using SATA power adapter cable to drive 8-pin powered graphics card. A 300w PSU with single rail may be able to allocate the graphics power demand but your PC has a multi-rail power supply, which may have a limit peak power on certain rail.

I take it your PSU is 250w? A 365w or greater PSU with 1x8-pin connector is needed to power the 125w GTX 1660 SUPER. You'd likely have to get an EVGA BR 450w PSU. EVGA is just one good name brand. There's also Corsair, Thermaltake, Cooler Master, to name a few.
