Dell Vostro SFF cant use HDMI for 4K?
So bought a Vostro SFF recently. Specs say a HDMI 1.4 port. But it then states only 1920 x 1200 somewhere in the manual.
Got a new Dell monitor 27" 4K. With the HDMI cable just get 1080P, And it does not have a display port in the monitor. None of this makes any sense to me. Any ideas? Thanks

@redxps630 So is there no way with this new PC to get 4K on the 4K monitor.
Would this work? A cable DP to HDMI

best way is DP cable to DP monitor when you can get 4k.
DP to HDMI would need an active adapter to get 4k. passive adapter probably would not work. the active adapter is expensive though
