VNXe3150 shows disk is synchronising - faulty disk or hot spare?
We have a VNXe3150. One disk "DPE Disk 3" under "storagepool01" shows "the system disk is resynchronizing" on checking logs it did show the disk "the disk has faulted.
How do I know the disk is synchronizing? do i need to replace it? Shoudnt the hot spare take over?
When I look at the storage pool shows me confusing information.
1. Hot spare pool - not applicable.
2. StroagePool02 - shows 0 used/5 unused disks.
How do I ensure the storage is running as it must and the hot spare is actually doing its job

Hi,
Thanks for your question. If it has completed resynchronizing and has no other errors now you can continue to use it, if it fails then you should replace the drive. You may want to make sure that the drive and system firmware and software is up to date as well. Which model drive is it?
