Different performance type
HI,
I need help, I tried to replace disks on VMAX (Symetrics 10K ), but I'm getting this error:
Different performance type
and the scripts fails, and ask to insert the original disk.
What can i do to check the disks.

Hello NenadN,
Since you have tried multiple drives and you are still getting the same message it is best to open a support case so we can see what is going on as to why it is not adding the drive.

Which model drives are the existing and new ones? Which enginuity version are you on?

I think a got a different disks, we are getting new ones now, i will write you back since i replace the disk and i shall see if the new ones are okay.

What were the drive size and speed that were in your system, & what drives size & speed did you replace them with?

We were replaced with a compatible drive, 300Gb 15K. But also we tried replacing this drive a few time, also all the time with new drives, and we are continuing getting this error.
