Is there a free version of the "Sandboxie" available?

I remember a free version of sandboxie, myself using in my home single computer desktop running on Win7.

When the same computer migrated to Win 10 I did not get the free version of the sandboxie.

I just searched on google and could find paid version for home use. Is there any unpaid version of similar one to sandboxie available?

Thank you for your time.

As far as I'm aware, the basic download of Sandboxie is still free, from https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?DownloadSandboxie

Even the "paid" home version page indicates, at the bottom:   "If you do not agree to these terms, you may continue to use Sandboxie free of charge, as long as you are not in violation of any of the conditions of the EULA.

So I suggest you download it, and [try to] install it.   I believe it will succeed.   The worst that can happen is that it will advise you that you have to pay to continue... but I don't expect that to happen.

Thank you ky331.

I use to have it when my desktop was running Win 7. You have given the answer I was looking for.

Thanks again.:emotion-1:

Just to confirm what ky331 said applies to Win 10.

I am also reminded that for routine websurfing, it is probably wise to do so in a sandbox. Theoretically SBie prevents ransomware, as long as one empties the sandbox contents after each session. [Of course if you are on a network that gets infected with the likes of NotPetya, all bets are off. SBie sandboxes your browser only, not your network].

I don't practice what I preach religiously, since a lot of what I do online cannot be done in a sandbox without a lot of extra steps. I really should be more careful for casual surfing though. After using SBie for many years, I can say it has never caused me grief. And if it blocks something I want, I still have my regular browser.
