Dell Technician Call - Scam ?

HI Team,

I am getting calls from days saying they are from dell.

The first call I got he said to me, he is calling from dell as they are getting some errors reported to the dell server from my machine. He asked to open laptop and go to eventviewer. Then I asked him to send me an official email from your dell email to proceed further to be safe. The call got dropped.

Today I got another call from another number with a person having indian accent. he told he is from the dell tech support team and call got disconnected.

This looks like a scam call to me. How are these guys getting this information of mine. Or is it a true call from dell. 

One things I had recently reached out dell with one of my technical issue with laptop and this has started after few days from that. Looks like this information has leaked after my call with dell team.

Not sure but looks like.....
