Unity : unable to cancel a job Operation failed. Error code: 0x6000008

Hello,

I have a Unity 500 on OE version 5.0.2.0.5.009, and I found a stucking hangins Suspended job (from 2023-04-14), using command :

uemcli -u admin -p mypassword /sys/task/job -active show -detail

1:    ID                  = N-523590
      Type                = Storage resource provisioning
      Title               = Delete VMware Virtual Volume
      State               = Suspended
      Result description  = The operation cannot be performed because the storage resource is performing a background operation. Wait a few minutes and retry the operation. (Error Code:0x712d8e0e)

when I try to cancel this old job using command  :

uemcli -u admin -p mypassword /sys/task/job -id N-523590 cancel

I get this error message :

Operation failed. Error code: 0x6000008
The requested operation is not supported. Search for the error code on the support website or product forums, or contact your service provider, if available. (Error Code:0x6000008)

Can you please help me on that ?

I tried rebooting both Storage Processors (one by one) but it didn't remove that job

Hello Abdel911,

You will need to open a support case, as the support agent will need to run some commands to clear the errors. When you call in you can refferenc KB article 000078150

Thank you for your interest and help,

I already found that KB article, actually, I don't have active support contract for that Unity array right now, that's why I came here to ask for help.
