Purge event records, by date or all
The goal is simple: delete the Unity storage 'Events/Logs' records, using date/time criteria (best variant), or all collected events (worse, but still acceptable). Unfortunately, the Unisphere has no ability to accomplish this (which looking strange). After I found that fact on 'hardware' Unity, I checked the UnityVSA 5.3 - still no functionality.
Additional checks (taken with UnityVSA, but they should be valid for 'hardware' storage as well):
- The UEMCLI utility seems has no such functionality as well;
- The 'svc_purge_logs' CLI command does not delete events;
- The 'factory reset' does not purge events;
- The 'reimage' does not purge events.
If the manupulation with storage event log is a subject to open the SR, please, claim this here.
Thank You!

Thank You, Josh. The script in the original state is aimed to delete the 'alert' type of events only, it does not process the other types. But I'll try to modify it to expand the 'scope of processing', test it with UnityVSA at first, and write the result here.
Cheers,
Dmitry

Here are my actual results. Still seems no solution, because:
- The script provided uses the UEMCLI utility, which is set to operate with /event/alert/hist 'object' (an alerts list);
- To operate with events list, UEMCLI must be pointed to /event/log 'object';
- The UEMCLI has no 'delete' action for /event/log 'object', while it does for /event/alert/hist. Look at the screenshots, please.
I checked that both with 'remote' (Win32) and 'local' (Unity OS) versions of UEMCLI.

I have not been able to find any other commands to do it.

Me too, Josh. It looks like the only way to accomplish this task - is the SR procedure.
Thank You for Your efforts!
