intermittent wifi
I've an interesting problem. I connect my XPS 17 9720 to the internet via an Orbi. after a while, including when nothing is happening, the orbi moves to 'connected, no internet connection'. to fix this, I have to run cmd and run the release, renew & dns flush via ipconfig. i then tun off and on, and its fine again. for a bit. I left the computer a lone for a while just idling, and a little while later, it had remove the connectivity. I'm fully up to date on drivers, and it only happens on this device (including if I try the same thing through a 5G mobile hotspot.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

Hi,
Same problem.
I have an XPS 15 9530 about 5 weeks old. Other computers on the wi-fi continue to run fine while I continually get
DNS_PROBE_STARTED
or
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG
error messages.
I have removed McAffee both as an application and as a plugin for Chrome.
I've turned off Windows 11 firewall.
Drivers all up to date.
For completeness I am using a TL-R600VPN v4.0 central router with a AX3000 4-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router configured as a wireless access point.
Very annoying!
My HP from work does not have this problem Dell.
