This forum can't be the official way to register that a customer-facing service is down/non-responsive. Can you tell us how we can open a trouble ticket directly as customers in the future, please?
@DELL-Charles R I contacted (Pro)Support directly. They wouldn't proceed with a case without a Service Tag, and then when I gave them a server Service Tag I was put through to a technician who had no idea how to deal with the issue, and didn't know who to contact. All they could find was references to similar downtime complaints on this very forum... Which is why I ended up coming here myself and adding to this entry.
So if you have a chance, please could you provide more detail to your answer?
That's great news! Thank you. But I still want to know who _specifically_/what route I take to open a trouble ticket in the future. Jut pointing me at https://www.dell.com/en-us/lp/contact-us isn't enough I'm afraid. Where should I go after that? If I use the most obvious button
then I get asked for a device/service tag. Which takes me somewhere where I'm dealing with someone who knows about hardware, not your web sites. Please tell me where I go to open a trouble ticket about linux.dell.com in the future.

Hello,
As you may have seen, the site is back up.
I don't have a cause. I'm just glad it is back up.
Sorry for any convenience. I worked diligently in my capacity to get this resolved.
I hope you hall have a great day.

Down for me too. This is really unhelpful.
Can someone at Dell
a) please take a look as soon as possible and,
b) publish some kind of official way (contact information) to notify Dell of these repeated issues in the future?
Without linux.dell.com the 'dsu' tool is useless, and it's a really helpful way to get my servers' firmwares updated.

Does anyone have any addresses at Dell we can use to raise awareness of this issue?

Thank you everyone.
This has been reported and a trouble ticket is in the works.
I don't have an estimated time for resolution, but they are working on it.
Please retry periodically.

Hello,
I can't say what the technician knew or didn't know. There may not have been a trouble ticket open at that time.
I can tell you that I submitted a trouble ticket and another team mate submitted one today.
The status right now is there is a trouble ticket in progress but I don't have an ETA to resolution.
You may retry periodically and I can update this thread when I see a resolution to the ticket.

this is still timing out for me.
Was this a DNS change? do we need to wait for propagation?
or did it just go down again in the hour since this was posted?
