SupportAssist unable to install
i got error while install SupportAssist
Device Alienware Llienware X17 R1
OS Windows 10 BUILD 19044
here is some error result inside C:\ProgramData\Dell\SupportAssist\Agent\logs\installer.log
ERROR Dell.SupportAssist.Client.Utilities.RegistryUtility - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Dell\SupportAssist ProManage : Not exists
ERROR Dell.SupportAssist.Client.SupportAssistInstaller.AutoUpgradeHelper.SupportAssistInstallerPackage - Some Error occured while upgrading msi SupportAssist Agent :
ERROR Dell.SupportAssist.Client.SupportAssistInstaller.InstallSupportAssist - SupportAssist download/installation failed with return code: msiinstallationfailed

And also from windows event log
Product: Dell SupportAssist -- Error 1920. Service Alienware Client Management Service (DellClientManagementService) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
i already followed remove dir PCDR SupportAssist also registry but never give me good result, what happend with SupportAssist Application?

well i just solved this issue by removing folder that called "UpdateService"
remove C:/ProgramData/Dell/UpdateService
install .NET Core Runtime v5 dotnet 5
Download and install Support assist

Causes of Unable to install SupportAssist
When you encounter a Windows Unable to error during disk formatting, do not assume that your disk or internal drive is faulty. There are still several ways you can fix the problem. Once you have tried all the solutions and nothing works, you can conclude that your drive or disk is permanently damaged.
One solution is to us a Windows Disk Management Tool found in Windows My Computer. Select the indicated drive and hit Format. Delete any partitions in the drive prior to formatting.
Another is to identify if your drive as partition or a RAW File System. If there is no partition, you need to recreate partitions. However, when your drive has a RAW File System, you need to do either of the 3 options: use Disk Management to Format, use Command Line to Format or use Partition Wizard to Format. RAW drive is a partition that has not be formatted and may cause the errors. You can fix the RAW drive using one of the 3 formatting options.

It is a well known issue with the newest version of SupportAssist. There is no real fix that is working overall for this issue yet. So it's up to dell to fix the installer and then the issues we are seeing.
