SupportAssist not scanning/optimizing at all
It's been a month and a day since I was last able to run a successful scan/optimization through SupportAssist. On August 26th, I clicked the Start Now button and it couldn't even start. I don't know if an XPS 8940 freeze/lock-up earlier that day had anything to do with it, but I've been able to run it in the past in such cases. Could it be a bug involving Windows 11 itself?
NVIDIA is still updating normally.

Many users opted to uninstall Support Assist and their machines run better since. Sometimes, you have to ask, does it assist you or you have to assist the app (help fixing it).

I had the same situation, and a Dell support rep told me the app was experiencing problems. That was enough for me. I don't need or want another app to scan my hardware, clean files, or to tune or optimize things anyway, so I uninstalled SupportAssist.

For some users, SA can be helpful.
I only use the Dell Update app and a little half art/half science with Dell support site and am usually pretty happy with Dell through the years.

My experience with SupportAssist is that it is more trouble than it is worth. I uninstalled both it and Dell Update from my two Dell computers. I check the Dell Support website every week and manually check for updates.
Just my two cents . . .

@garioch7 That will have to do for now, checking the Dell Support website. I've bookmarked the page, but I won't marked the problem as solved at this time.
