m15 R1, SA error Task is currently in progress

Good Evening,

I am consistently getting the error "A task is currently in progress, wait for previous task to finish" whenever I try to run support assist but I am unable to find any reason for this. Please advise how to correct this.

Hi wdmalik there are similar issues reported on the SupportAssist for PCs board, example: ‎A task is currently in progress. Wait for the previous task to finish. | DELL Technologies. My SupportAssist is version 3.14.0.91 and keeps trying to install the Alienware Command Center Application - Full Installer - A00 - 1,137.83 MB - Critical update. The Dell SupportAssist application is not standalone and is corrupted by Windows Update.

Try uninstall SupportAssist using Revo Uninstaller Free and then its Advanced Scan option, Restart (not Shut Down) to save change and then re-download from Support for SupportAssist for Home PCs | Drivers & Downloads | Dell US.
