Can't install support assist properly

Hi

I have an XPS 8940 which I purchased in 2021.  I have not had any problems with it.  Recently I had a major malfunction with it so i decided to do a reset which seems to have worked fine with the exception of dell support assist and I am worried that I am missing a raft of updates that have occurred over the years.  I know there has been an update to support assist and I presume the installation of Windows 11 in that period is causing problems

I have tried downloading Support Assist separately but it does not work -
