Replacing HD with SSD in XPS 14 with the 32GB internal SSD option Win10

I have an XPS 14 factory shipped with the 500 GB HD and the 32 GB SSD.

I believe this SSD was use to speed up the HD under Win8.

I have migrated to a WD 500 GB SSD using EaseUS Clone drive function, since the WD version of Acronis would not clone to a USB as needed to do with a laptop. 

The XPS now boots into the Intel Rapid Storage BIOS screen, instead of the normal boot. When this times out, the boot continues normally.

Disk Manager shows the internal SSD as 8 GB (not 32), but the Intel BIOS screen shows two partitions, 8GB and 21.8 GB.

Pulling the internal; SSD (32GB) causes a boot failure. (Was thinking it was not being used by Win10).

1) How do I get the machine to boot without asking to look at the Intel Rapid Store BIOS screen.

2) How do I get the internal SSD out of the boot process, so I can repurpose it to hold the page swap file for some speed increase? 

3) If I am going the wrong way, what is the best configuration for the drives on this machine.

Since you replaced the HDD with an SSD, the Cache SSD is now worthless as they are both the same speed.  The reason you are getting a failure is the Intel Rapid Storage software sees the Cache and the HDD/SSD as a RAID like combination and needs to be shut off or wiped as it will boot from there and 'update' the HDD as needed.  You will have to go into the IRST software in Windows, disable the IRST function so the computer doesn't look for it on the Cache drive, and then I THINK you can delete the drive or remove it.  You could delete it from the IRST Bios however you will loose the ability to boot windows and that would cause a huge mess.
