Newly purchased WM126 mouse keeps freezing
I have a problem with a recently purchased Dell mouse, model WM216. It keeps freezing every few minutes during use - I can't move it, but the buttons still work. It only unfreezes if I turn it off and on again. It is still connected to the computer and it appears in the Dell Peripheral Manager. I tried changing the battery, but it did not help. The mouse is connected to the universal pairing dongle together with my KM714 keyboard.
I tried reaching out to Dell support, but without a service tag, which the mouse does not have, I am unable to actually speak to anyone. Inputting the serial number does not work. Is there any way to fix this problem? The mouse was bought through Amazon about a week ago.
