Try this Microsoft Article ........

If the "FixIt" does not work, scroll down the page and follow the manual instructions for your operating system.

Hi tboyd66,
We really need more information, such as the model of your Dell, your operating system, etc. When you say "I don't see it under My Computer", I'm not clear what "it" you mean.

This is the laptop I have: www.dell.com/.../pd
WIN 7
Usually, under 'computer' you see the contents of the drive (in this case turbo tax). All I see is OS (C:) . I was hoping to get turbo tax to run from there since it didn't automatically start up when inserted. And if I could get it to run, maybe I could get it out.

thanks skybird! the fixit didn't work, but reinstalling the drivers did (i've got some sort of conflict with itunes...) Dell tech support to the rescue as the manual instructions were pretty scary!!
