User mapping feature in S1

Dear All,

is there a user mapping feature in S1?

I mean the following, there is a Lotus archive built up using journaling, and customer want to access the web search UI using AD authentication. Is there a way to map Lotus users to AD users and give AD user access rights to the archive?

If there is another solution, it is welcome!

Thank You!

Hi Krisztian,

If this access needs to be provided for Admins and auditors (read all), then there is possibility otherwise for end users I could not think of a way. The reason is that it is not only about authentication but also about properties used to search. When a user picks Notes authentication than SourceOne knows where to go look for users email addresses and names resolution. By default SourceOne will query the notes address book for addresses.

There might be other possibilities but I haven’t tested or came across any.

Thanks.

Rajan

Hi,

thank you for your valueable answer. I was not specified the question correctly, I meant user access.

May I ask what kind of other possibilities do you think?
